Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP; the CO-OP Approach)

2nd time in Croatia, Croatian association of occupational therapists is  CPD course CO-OP – Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance. We are organising the CO-OP approach course with one of the authors , dr. Helene Polatajko. She will be accompanied with our dear  dr Claire Sangster Jokic who led the course last time in 2012

Dates: April 20. – 21 2018 (Friday, Saturday), 3rd day will be defined during the workshop, it will be on Saturday and attendance can be via Skype)

Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP; the CO-OP Approach) is a performance-based treatment approach for children and adults who experience difficulties performing the skills they want to, need to or are expected to perform. CO-OP is a specifically tailored, active client-centered approach that engages the individual at the meta-cognitive level to solve performance problems. Focused on enabling success, the CO-OP Approach employs collaborative goal setting, dynamic performance analysis, cognitive strategy use, guided discovery, and enabling principles.  These elements, all considered essential to the Approach, are situated within a structured intervention format, and with parent/significant other involvement as appropriate.

Terms of cancellation

You can cancell your participation up to three weeks before the course begins without having to pay the costs. To do this, you must notify the organizer (HURT) in writing before the deadline expires. If you are didn't  cancell and you can not attend the training, we encourage you to find your replacement. Canceled applications received after the cancellation deadline will be disregarded and you will be charged the full amount of your registration fee. There is no money back for participants who give up during the education; although in the event of an emergency or a change of schedule, individual difficulties will be considered and solutions in accordance with HURT cancellation / change conditions.
